Rajasthan is a northern Indian state bordering Pakistan. Its palaces and forts are reminders of the many kingdoms that historically vied for the region. In its capital, Jaipur (the “Pink City”), are the 18th-century City Palace and Hawa Mahal, a former cloister for royal women, fronted by a 5-story pink-sandstone screen. Amer Fort, atop a nearby hill, was built by a Rajput prince in the early 1600s.

Day 1:Arrive Delhi – Agra – Local Sightseeing

Pick up from Rly Stn. / Airport & drive to Agra. On arrival check in at hotel. Proceed for sightseeing visiting the world famous Taj Mahal built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Later visit the Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of Public and Private Audience. Also visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father. Return back to the Hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2:Agra – Ranthambore (B)

Morning visit Amber Fort with an Elephant ride( at extra cost subject to availability) till the main entrance of the fort. Amber Fort was the ancient capital of the State. After photo stop at Jal Mahal, Visit Maharaja’s City Palace, the Observatory Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors. Evening free for shopping on own. Return to hotel for the Overnight at Hotel.

Day 3:Ranthambore – Jaipur Local Sightseeing (B)

Morning check out from hotel and drive to Jaipur. Proceed for tour of Jaipur. Jaipur – the capital of Rajasthan was given a colour coat of pink a century ago in honour of a visiting Prince and ever since, it has retained this colour. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old. Drive past Hawa Mahal & through the pink rose residential & business areas. Overnight Jaipur. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 4:Jaipur (B)

Morning visit Amber Fort with an Elephant ride (at extra cost subject to availability) till the main entrance of the fort. Amber Fort was the ancient capital of the State. After photo stop at Jal Mahal, Visit Maharaja’s City Palace, the Observatory Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors. Evening free for shopping on own. Return to hotel for the overnight stay.

Day 5:Jaipur – Delhi (B)

Check out from hotel and drive back to Delhi. Check in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 6:Delhi – Local Sightseeing (B)

Morning tour of Delhi visiting Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana – the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. Afternoon visit India Gate (War Memorial Arch.), Lakshminarayan Temple – a modern Hindu Temple. Also drive past President’s House, Parliament House, and Government Secretariat Buildings. Evening visit to Akshardham Temple (Monday Closed). Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 7:Delhi – Local Sightseeing – Departure (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Check out from hotel. Visit to Qutub Minar, Humayun Tomb and Lotus Temple (Monday Closed). In time at Delhi Airport / Rly Stn for onward Journey.
